While the 2024 Genesis Electrified GV70 departs from the traditional trim level model, it offers two distinct packages: Advanced and Prestige. Both feature a double-motor electric architecture producing 429 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. These strapping motors are powered by a 77.4 kWh battery pack, which also enables 236 miles of single-charge travel (which is equivalent to 98 MPGe city/83 MPGe highway). Using a DC fast charger, the Electrified GV70 will go from a 10 to 80 percent charge in a mere 18 minutes. This considerable power source also allows the Electrified GV70 to tow up to 3,500 pounds.
The Advanced Package provides a wealth of high-end standard features. On the exterior, it gets a panoramic sunroof, a hands-free liftgate, LED headlights, power-folding side mirrors, pre-wiring for a trailer, and an electronically controlled suspension. It’s also compatible with Digital Key, allowing you to unlock and start the vehicle straight from your smartphone. On the inside, the Advanced has leather upholstery, push-button ignition, power-adjustable front seats that are both heated and ventilated, a deluxe driver’s seat (with position memory, power bolsters, and cushion extensions), tri-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, and ambient cabin lighting. Its technology highlights are a cutting-edge fingerprint authentication system, an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless phone charging, a vehicle-to-load (V2L) charging system (for powering external devices), and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink.
For those seeking an even higher expression of luxury, the Prestige Package provides top-quality Nappa leather upholstery, a synthetic-leather upper instrument panel, a microfiber suede headliner, a 12.3-inch 3-D digital gauge cluster, a head-up display, active noise control, a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, and manual rear-door sunshades.
The 2024 Genesis Electrified GV70 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of active driving aids. Both the Advanced and Prestige have forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, driver attention warning, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, a blind-spot view monitor, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, parking sensors, reverse parking collision-avoidance assist, safe exit assist, and advanced rear occupant alert. They also get adaptive cruise control with speed limit assist and Highway Driving Assist 2, a surround-view camera, and Remote Smart Parking Assist, the brand’s exclusive automatic parking system.
Both the Advanced and Prestige versions of the Electrified GV70 have a 14.5-inch touchscreen with navigation, HD radio, SiriusXM satellite radio, smartphone integration (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. But while the Advanced has an 8-speaker audio system, the Prestige is upgraded with a 15-speaker Lexicon setup that will surely appeal to music lovers. The two packages are also compatible with Genesis Connected Services, which let you manage certain vehicle functions remotely.
