Genesis offers two trim levels for the 2024 G90: 3.5T AWD and 3.5T E-Supercharged AWD. Both versions have all-wheel drive that’s managed by an eight-speed automatic transmission. The base G90 has a 375-horsepower twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 under the hood. The upper trim has the same engine, but it’s enhanced with a mild-hybrid system and electric supercharger, which increases output to 409 horsepower. The EPA-estimated fuel economy for the 3.5T trim is 18 mpg around town and 26 mpg on the open road. The ratings change to 17 city/24 mpg with the upgraded engine.
Unsurprisingly, the G90 3.5T is packed with an extensive array of standard comfort and convenience features befitting a vehicle of its class. This equipment includes a panoramic sunroof, tri-zone automatic climate control, a hands-free trunk, power-closing doors, a heated power tilt and telescopic steering wheel, a head-up display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, LED headlights, power-folding side mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, proximity keyless entry, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Passengers will enjoy the indulgence of Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated power front seats with massage and power bolsters, and heated rear seats.
The long list of features continues with front-row wireless device charging, power rear and rear side sunshades, sound-reducing glass in the windshield and side windows, a leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, matte-finish wood trim, a headline and pillars covered in microfiber suede, dynamic welcome lights, configurable ambient lighting, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. In addition to the stronger powerplant, the E-Supercharged edition gets second-row wireless device charging, power rear seats with ventilation and massage, upgraded accents, and 21-inch alloy wheels.
There’s a comprehensive collection of advanced driver-assist features in the 2024 G90. These aids include forward collision-avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, a blind-spot view monitor, a surround-view monitor, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, highway driving assist, adaptive cruise control, speed limit assist, driver attention warning, automatic high beams, safe exit assist, and rear occupant alert. The G90 also has several systems designed to make parking easier: front and rear parking sensors, parking collision-avoidance assist, and enhanced Remote Smart Parking Assist (to help with perpendicular, diagonal, and parallel parking). Both trims also have traction control, ten airbags, anti-lock brakes (ABS), vehicle stability control, and a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines.
A 12.3-inch touchscreen is the G90’s infotainment command center. The standard features within it are navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, and access to a Wi-Fi hotspot and Genesis Connected Services. The E-Supercharged trim is upgraded with a 26-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. Both editions have a digital key feature, enabling vehicle access and control via a smartphone app.
