Trims, Powertrains, and Performance

Buyers of the ’24 GV70 can choose between the 2.5T and 3.5T powertrains. Each of those has its own selection of trims (Select, Advanced, and Sport Prestige for the 2.5T and Sport, Sport Advanced, and Sport Prestige for the 3.5T). The 2.5T is a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 300 hp and 311 lb.-ft. of torque, whereas the 3.5T is a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 making 375 hp and 391 lb.-ft. of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drivetrain are standard regardless of the engine size. For fuel economy, the 2.5T versions are rated by the EPA to return 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, while the 3.5Ts are estimated to achieve 18 city/24 highway.

Signature Amenities

The base-level 2.5T Standard comes well equipped with 19-inch wheels, a hands-free liftgate, heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, a wireless phone charge pad, and a fingerprint authentication system. The Select dials up the appeal by adding a panoramic sunroof, a heated steering wheel, and spin-brushed aluminum interior trim, while the Advanced is sweetened with leather upholstery and waveline backlit trim. The Sport Prestige is the most upscale 2.5T trim, with its ventilated front seats, unique 21-inch wheels, leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, driver’s seat with power cushion extension, tri-zone automatic climate control, 12.3-inch 3D digital gauge cluster, Digital Key, and manual rear-door sunshades. While the Sport Prestige also comes with aluminum interior trim, it has a special haptic carbon pattern.

The 3.5T Sport starts with 19-inch wheels, an electronically controlled suspension, a panoramic sunroof, a hands-free liftgate, power-folding side mirrors, leather upholstery, haptic-carbon aluminum interior trim, a driver’s seat with power cushion extensions, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, a wireless phone charger, and fingerprint authentication. The Sport Advanced is boosted with 21-inch wheels, Nappa leather upholstery, a microfiber suede headliner, layered edge backlit trim, and Digital Key. At the tippity-top of the range, the Sport Prestige gets a 12.3-inch 3D digital gauge cluster, a head-up display, tri-zone automatic climate control, carbon-fiber interior trim, heated second-row seats, and manual rear-door sunshades.

Advanced Safety Equipment

Genesis installs a full array of state-of-the-art driver-assist technologies in the 2024 GV70, including forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, adaptive cruise control (with highway driving assist and intelligent speed limit assist), driver attention warning, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, rear parking sensors, and safe exit assist. The 2.5T Advanced also gets a blind-spot view monitor, front parking sensors, reverse parking collision-avoidance assist, and rear occupant alert, while the 2.5T Sport Prestige is graced with Remote Smart Parking Assist.

The 3.5T Sport’s supply of safety aids is similar to the 2.5T Standard’s, but with the addition of rear occupant alert. The 3.5T Sport Advanced and Sport Prestige both get the same safety tech features as the 2.5T Sport Prestige.

Infotainment

All trims come with a stunning multimedia system featuring a 14.5-inch touchscreen with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, Genesis Connected Services, HD radio, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a multi-speaker sound system. The higher trims – the 3.5T Sport Advanced and the Sport Prestige versions of the 2.5T and 3.5T – upgrade to a deluxe Lexicon audio system.
