Standout Design

When it comes to making a stylish statement, the ‘24 GV70 stands head and shoulders above the RDX. The GV70 embodies a perfect fusion of sophistication and modern design with its bold front end, sleek LED headlights, and aerodynamic contours that exude an air of refined luxury. In contrast, the RDX (while stylish in its own right) falls short of the GV70’s overall dramatic aesthetic.

Performance Prowess and Complimentary Maintenance

Boasting a range of powerful engine options, including a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder making 300 hp and an available 3.5-liter V6 that puts out 375 hp, the GV70 delivers a thrilling driving experience that the RDX simply can’t match with its 272-hp turbocharged powerplant. Plus, the EPA has officially estimated that the ‘24 GV70 returns up to 22 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The RDX is slightly less efficient, achieving 21 city/27 highway (and that’s with a less powerful engine!) What these two models have in common, though, is standard all-wheel drive, ensuring optimal traction and stability on all road surfaces. Moreover, the ‘24 GV70 comes with 3 years/36,000 miles of complimentary factory-scheduled maintenance, which significantly outdoes the 2-year/24,000-mile plan offered with the RDX.

Upscale Interior

The 2024 Genesis GV70’s cabin is a masterclass in opulence, featuring premium materials and first-rate amenities. From the available Nappa leather seats to tri-zone automatic climate control, the GV70 is the epitome of refinement. While the RDX also offers a comfortable cabin experience, it falls short of the GV70’s exquisite attention to detail, reminding onlookers that it’s essentially an upgraded Honda. The ‘24 GV70 also sets a new standard for technology within the luxury crossover class, boasting an infotainment system with an expansive 14.5-inch touchscreen and built-in navigation. The largest touchscreen in the RDX only measures out to 10.2 inches, and it doesn’t even come with standard nav. On top of that, the ‘24 GV70 is eligible for Digital Key and a 12.3-inch 3D digital gauge cluster, two items you can’t get in the RDX.

Advanced Driving Aids

The Genesis GV70 sets a new benchmark for safety and convenience, boasting a generous suite of standard driver-assistance technologies. While it and the RDX both come with features like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control, the GV70 stands out with Remote Smart Parking Assist, which can automatically maneuver into tight parking spots without any driver intervention. Such a cutting-edge convenience is not offered with the RDX.
