The 2025 Genesis Electrified GV70 is a compact all-wheel-drive crossover offered with two distinct equipment packages: Advanced and Prestige. Its powertrain is made up of two 160-kW electric motors (one on each axle) that together produce 429 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque. The high-capacity 77.4-kW battery enables 236 miles of range (98 MPGe in the city and 83 MPGe on the highway). Charging is efficient, especially when with access to a public DC fast-charging station, where the Electrified GV70 can achieve a 10 to 80 percent charge in just 18 minutes. The model’s regenerative braking feature captures the kinetic energy formed during the stopping process and converts it into electricity to incrementally recharge the battery.
With the Advanced Package, the ’25 Electrified GV70 will have leather upholstery, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats with cushion extension for the driver, Digital Key, a biometric fingerprint authentication system for starting the vehicle, a wireless phone charger, a panoramic sunroof, a hands-free liftgate, an 8-inch digital gauge cluster, power-folding side mirrors, a 110-volt V2L charging system (this turns the Electrified GV70 into a mobile power source), and 20-inch alloy wheels. The Prestige Package bolsters the refinement level with premium Nappa leather upholstery, a leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, a 12.3-inch 3D digital gauge cluster, a 12-inch head-up display, a microfiber suede headliner, active noise control, and manual rear-door sunshades.
An assembly of safety-enhancing driving aids comes standard in the ’25 Electrified GV70. On the list of these advanced technologies are adaptive cruise control, highway driving assist, speed limit assist, Remote Smart Parking Assist, forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, driver attention warning, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, a blind-spot view monitor, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, parking sensors, reverse parking collision-avoidance assist, safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, and automatic high beams. The infotainment system in the ’25 Electrified GV70 centers around a 14.5-inch display that can be controlled using the touchscreen interface or the dial on the center console. Regardless of the package, it comes with navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, and Bluetooth for hands-free phone and audio streaming. The audio system in the Advanced has eight speakers, but with the Prestige, you’ll be treated to a superior 15-speaker Lexicon unit with Quantum Logic surround sound.
