Genesis offers the GV70 in two powertrain choices. With the 2.5T, you’ll have four available trim packages: Standard, Select, Advanced, and Sport Prestige. There are three package choices for the GV70 3.5T: Sport, Sport Advanced, and Sport Prestige. The 2.5T editions are equipped with a 300-horsepower turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, while the 3.5T is based around a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 making 375 horsepower. Both powerplants are connected to an all-wheel drivetrain (AWD) via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The GV70 2.5T has been rated by the EPA to achieve 22 mpg around town and 28 mpg on the open road (19 city/26 highway with 21-inch wheels). The fuel economy estimates for the 3.5T change to 18 mpg in city driving and 24 mpg on the highway. When the GV70 is properly equipped with a tow hitch and trailer brakes, it can pull up to 3,500 pounds. The vehicle’s cargo capacity ranges from 28.9 cubic feet behind the second row to 56.9 cubic feet behind the first row (with the second row folded down).
The GV70 2.5T Standard’s long roster of features includes heated power front seats, leatherette upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster with analog gauges, LED headlights, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, heated power side mirrors, USB ports, wireless device charging, a fingerprint authentication system (for keyless starting), a hands-free liftgate, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The GV70 Select is upgraded with a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, driver’s-side position memory, a power telescoping steering wheel, power-folding side mirrors, and aluminum cabin accents.
The 2.5T Advanced takes the GV70 further upscale with leather upholstery, lumbar controls for the front passenger’s seat, enhanced cabin lighting, and a second-row 110-volt power outlet. The ultimate 2.5T grade is the Sport Prestige, which features ventilated front seats, leather-trimmed seating with mesh inserts, an upgraded driver’s seat with Ergo Motion (and power cushion extension and bolster), tri-zone automatic climate control, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Digital Key, a leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, rear door sunshades, exclusive exterior treatments, and 21-inch alloy wheels.
The 3.5T range begins with the Sport edition, which expands on the features of the 2.5T Standard. The 3.5T Sport also gets a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, an Ergo Motion driver’s seat with power cushion extension and bolsters, driver’s position memory, front passenger lumbar controls, a power telescoping steering column, power-folding side mirrors, roof rails, and a second-row 110-volt outlet. The 3.5T Sport adds Nappa leather upholstery, a leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, a microfiber suede headliner, Digital Key, and 21-inch alloy wheels. The 3.5T Sport Prestige expands on all of the above with heated second-row seats, tri-zone automatic climate control, a head-up display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, rear door sunshades, and carbon-fiber interior accents.
All 2025 GV70s come with a suite of advanced driver-assistance technologies. That safety-enhancing list consists of forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, following assist, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, highway driving assist, intelligent speed limit assist, adaptive cruise control, and driver attention warning. Rear parking sensors, high-beam assist, and safe exit assist are also part of the package.
In addition, most GV70 grades (except the 2.5T Standard and 3.5T Sport) have a surround-view monitor, blind-spot view monitor, front and rear parking sensors, reverse parking collision-avoidance assist, and advanced rear occupant alert. The 2.5T Sport Prestige, 3.5T Sport Advance, and 3.5T Sport Prestige also get Remote Smart Parking Assist.
The infotainment touchscreen spans a generous 14.5 inches in every trim package. The system also has navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. All trims have access to a Wi-Fi hotspot and Genesis Connected Services for emergency help, remote vehicle functions, and other features. Audio comes via a nine-speaker system that’s upgraded to a 16-speaker Lexicon arrangement in the 2.5T Sport Prestige, 3.5T Sport Advanced, and 3.5T Sport Prestige.
