Genesis is known for including warranties that top the industry, most notably a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a full 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty that covers the entire vehicle. Audi, on the other hand, only covers the 2021 A7 with 4-year/50,000-mile basic and powertrain warranties. Genesis also issues a complimentary maintenance plan covering scheduled visits (oil/filter changes, tire rotations, and safety inspections) for 3 years or 36,000 miles. Audi only covers the first scheduled maintenance visit.


Power and Performance
While the standard engines of each model are comparable in the power department, the 2021 Genesis G90’s available 5.0-liter V8 produces 420 hp and 383 lb.-ft. of torque compared to the 2021 Audi A7’s turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine – the sole powerplant offered on this model – which makes 362 hp and 369 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2021 Genesis G90 also has a larger fuel tank than the 2021 Audi A7 (21.9 gallons vs. 19.3), so you’ll be able to travel a little farther between fill-ups.


Passenger Comfort and Amenities
The 2021 Genesis G90 has 4.1 more inches of front headroom, 5 inches more front legroom, and 1.9 inches more front shoulder room than the 2021 Audi A7. To top it off, the G90 offers a power rear sunshade and rear side-window sunshades that effectively block heat and glare for the rear passengers when needed. The 2021 A7 does not make rear sunshades available.

The 2021 G90 comes with a standard remote vehicle starting system that can be activated via your smartphone, so you can start the engine from the comfort of indoors and slide behind the wheel once the car’s climate is where you want it. The 2021 Audi A7 does not offer a standard factory remote-start system. The 2021 Genesis G90 also qualifies for air-conditioned rear seats.
