2025 Genesis
G80
The Genesis G80 has been given a refresh for model year 2025 that enhances its luxury sedan credentials. The exterior sees subtle design changes to the headlights, grille, and front air intakes. Inside, the most striking change is the introduction of an expansive 27-inch display that increases the cabin's tech-forward ambience. Plus, Genesis has listened to customer feedback and reintroduced physical controls for key functions like volume and temperature adjustment, and wireless smartphone connectivity (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) is now standard, with over-the-air update capability. Audio enthusiasts will appreciate the new Bang & Olufsen sound system that replaces the Lexicon unit of the past. The G80's ambient lighting system has been expanded to offer 64 colors in additional locations throughout the cabin.
The Genesis premium ownership experience continues with five years or 60,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper protection, while powertrain coverage extends to ten years or 100,000 miles. Complimentary standard scheduled maintenance is also included for three years or 36,000 miles and is supplemented by Genesis Service Valet (a loaner car with pickup and drop-off service).

The 2025 G80 has two core specifications: 2.5T AWD and 3.5T AWD, which indicate what’s under the hood plus the standard all-wheel drivetrain. There are sub-trims for each engine: 2.5T AWD, 2.5T AWD Advanced, 2.5T AWD Sport Prestige, 3.5T AWD Sport Advanced, and 3.5T AWD Sport Prestige. The 2.5T boasts a turbocharged 300-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, while the 3.5T benefits from a twin-turbocharged 375-horsepower 3.5-liter V6. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2.5T AWD is EPA-rated for 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway, while the 3.5T AWD is estimated to return 16 mpg around town and 25 mpg on the open road.
