Trims, Powertrain, and Performance

Genesis presents presents two strong and capable powertrains for the 2026 GV70: 2.5T and 3.5T. The 2.5T, a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine making 300 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque, is offered for the Base, Select, Advanced, and Prestige trims.

The Sport Advanced and Sport Prestige trims get the 3.5T, a formidable 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 with an output of 375 hp and 391 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive (AWD) is standard across the lineup.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the 2.5T version achieves an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. The more powerful 3.5T is rated to return 18 mpg city/25 mpg highway.

Standout Features

The roster of prime features in the 2.5T Base is highlighted by leatherette upholstery, heated power-adjustable front seats, adjustable ambient interior lighting, a power hands-free liftgate, heated side mirrors with turn indicators, a fingerprint authentication system, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The 2.5T Select builds on that with a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, power-folding side mirrors featuring Genesis logo puddle lights, and spin-brush patterned aluminum interior trim. Those who step up to the 2.5T Advanced will get the true luxury of genuine leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and backlit interior trim.

At the top of the 2.5T range, the Sport Prestige boasts a more athletic design and additional enhancements, such as an upgraded Ergo Motion driver’s seat with power cushion extension and power-adjustable bolsters, a leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, tri-zone automatic climate control, Digital Key 2, haptic-carbon pattern aluminum interior trim, a unique exterior design, and 21-inch sport alloy wheels.

The 3.5T Sport Advanced includes a combination of features drawn from the 2.5T lineup while adding some performance flair. Notable highlights include leather upholstery, power-adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, the more supportive Ergo Motion driver’s seat, a leatherette-wrapped upper dash, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging, a power hands-free liftgate, heated power-folding side mirrors with Genesis-logo puddle lights, adjustable ambient interior lighting, Digital Key 2, a fingerprint authentication system, backlit interior trim, sporty exterior design elements, and 19-inch sport alloy wheels. At the top of the lineup, the 3.5T Sport Prestige gets tri-zone automatic climate control, haptic-carbon pattern aluminum trim, and 21-inch sport alloy wheels.

Advanced Safety Features

Every ‘26 GV70 trim receives a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance technologies. Standard across the lineup are forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, driver attention warning, blind-spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, front and rear parking sensors, safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, forward attention warning, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, highway driving assist, intelligent speed limit assist, and automatic high beams. With the 2.5T Advanced and higher trims, you’ll get an active blind-spot view monitor, side parking sensors, reverse parking collision-avoidance assist, advanced rear occupant alert, and a surround view monitor.

Infotainment and Connectivity

A cutting-edge 27-inch OLED infotainment display is found in every ’26 GV70. Its standard components are onboard navigation, wireless Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. The default audio system is a high-quality unbranded unit, while the 2.5T Advanced and above trims upgrade to a Bang & Olufsen arrangement. All trims receive access to a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot (with a 90-day trial) and Genesis Connected Services, allowing drivers to remotely control key vehicle functions directly from their smartphones.
