Genesis’ plush midsized sedan got itself a midcycle refresh for 2025, and it’s following that up with a lineup change for ‘26. The 3.5T Sport Advanced AWD has been discontinued, while the new 3.5T Prestige Black AWD takes over as the highest trim. This newcomer gives the G80 a distinctive dark theme, with a blacked-out grille, wheels, and badging. Even its headlights stand out with dark accents, and the interior exudes upper-echelon comfort with quilted Nappa leather.
Other changes for 2026 are the inclusion of wireless smartphone charging, Genesis Digital Key 2, and rear sunshades on the 2.5T Advanced AWD, when these attributes were previously reserved for higher trims. Like every new Genesis, the 2026 G80 is covered by the automaker’s bumper-to-bumper warranty for five years or 60,000 miles, as well as a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, and Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles.
