Trims and Powertrains

The 2026 GV80 is offered with two powertrain options across five trims: the Base, Select, Advanced, Prestige, and Prestige Black. The 2.5T powertrain, available on the Base, Select, Advanced, and Prestige, produces 300 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque from its namesake turbocharged 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine. The 3.5T powertrain, available on the Advanced, Prestige, and Prestige Black, generates 375 horsepower and 391 lb.-ft. of torque from a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. Both engines match with an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

The Base is the only trim with either a drivetrain choice - rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel (AWD) drive, while the rest of the lineup is offered only with AWD. The RWD 2.5T returns an estimated 20 mpg city and 26 mpg highway, while the AWD trims drop slightly to 19 city/24 highway mpg. The 3.5T trims all achieve 16 mpg city/22 mpg highway. The 2.5T Base, Select, and Advanced have multi-link front and rear suspensions, while the 2.5T Prestige and all three 3.5T trims are upgraded to an electronically controlled suspension with road preview. All GV80s get Monobloc 4-piston front brakes, and the 3.5T Prestige and Prestige Black receive an electronic rear limited-slip differential. Both powertrains boast a 6,000-pound towing capacity, and AWD versions are outfitted with Terrain Mode, which provides snow, sand, and mud settings.

Standard Equipment by Trim

The 2.5T Base has a leatherette interior, heated power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support, a 27-inch display with a digital instrument cluster, a fingerprint authentication system for engine start and driver settings, wireless smartphone charging, push-button ignition, power-folding auto-dimming side-view mirrors with puddle lights, dual-line LED headlights and taillights, a hands-free power liftgate with auto-open, a cabin mood curator with customizable ambience settings, adjustable interior ambient lighting, four USB-C ports, a 12-volt power outlet, a 40/20/40-split folding second row, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The 2.5T Select adds a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, manual rear sunshades, a 115-volt power outlet, Digital Key 2, and 20-inch alloy wheels.

The 2.5T Advanced seats up to seven passengers with a power-folding third row. It also sports leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats with memory, and quad-zone climate control. The 2.5T Prestige adds power cushion extension with bolster and Ergo-Motion on the driver’s seat, a head-up display, heated second-row seats, second-row climate controls, and 22-inch alloy wheels.

The 3.5T Advanced comes with the same amenities as the 2.5T Prestige but rides on 20-inch alloy wheels. The 3.5T Prestige upgrades to Nappa leather upholstery, a digital rearview mirror, ventilated second-row seats, a heated center-console armrest, a microfiber suede headliner and pillar coverings, soft-close doors, power rear sunshades, and 22-inch alloy wheels. The 3.5T Prestige Black gets a blacked-out exterior appearance plus quilted Nappa leather seating, black ash wood interior trim, tri-zone climate control with second-row controls, and a power second row with recline, slide, and tilt.

Safety and Driver-Assist Technology

Every 2026 GV80 is equipped with Highway Driving Assist 2, Smart Cruise Control 2, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, Lane Following Assist 2, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, lane keeping assist, blind spot collision-avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, forward and reverse parking distance warning, driver attention warning, forward attention warning, safe exit assist, advanced rear occupant alert, high beam assist, and a rearview camera. The 2.5T Advanced adds Remote Smart Parking Assist 2, a surround-view monitor, a blind-spot view monitor, side parking distance warning, and front/side/rear parking collision-avoidance assist.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The GV80’s infotainment system is integrated into its 27-inch OLED touchscreen display, which consolidates onboard navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth hands-free streaming. The standard sound system has nine speakers, while the 2.5T Prestige and above move up to a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system with 18 speakers and active noise control. Every GV80 comes with complimentary Genesis Connected Services, including enhanced roadside assistance, stolen vehicle recovery, and Genesis Pay.
